1Malaysia Programme By Malaysia Government



        

                                      

The 1AZAM Programme was introduced to provide employment and income generating opportunities for the poor and hardcore poor.

                                           
                                                

1Malaysia One Call Centre (1MOCC)

1MOCC is a single point of contact centre operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to answer any public enquiry, complaint, suggestion and feedback via phone calls, short messaging system (SMS), fax, email and social media.
                                                

1Malaysia People's Welfare Programme (KAR1SMA)

Under the programme, a target group comprising low-income senior citizens, children, disabled persons, single mothers and widows of soldiers and policemen would be given monetary aid every month. This is to ensure the group does not remain marginalised and isolated in the society. People in these groups receive between RM100 and RM450 per person or household.

                                        

Amanah Saham 1Malaysia / 1Malaysia Trust Fund (AS1M)

AS1M is a share investment scheme that offers a 10 billion-unit fixed price fund of RM1 per unit for all Malaysian individuals with a minimum initial investment of 100 units. The average return for AS1M is between five per cent and 10 per cent a year.

                                     

Bantuan Buku 1Malaysia / 1Malaysia Book Voucher (BB1M)

Under this project, each student receives RM200 worth of book vouchersthroughout the nation. Some 5.4 million students in public and private institutions of higher learning, matriculation stream as well as those in Form Six have so far enjoyed the aid. It is aimed towards easing the burden on students while cultivating a healthy interest towards reading among Malaysians.


                                   

Bantuan Lesen 1Malaysia (BL1M)

BL1M is a special programme to help Malaysians, especially the young, to obtain B2 license for a minimal fee of RM199.
                                          

                                     

Bantuan Rakyat 1Malaysia / 1Malaysia People’s Aid (BR1M)

This is a direct financial assistance of RM700 to Malaysian households earning less than RM4,000 per month. The one-off payment cash aid, implemented since 2012, has benefited over 75 per cent of the country’s households.
During the recent BR1M 2014 implementation, recipients also received 1Malaysia People’s Takaful Insurance Group (i-BR1M) worth RM50 with minimum protection of RM1,000 (natural death) and maximum of RM30,000 in the event of death due to accident or permanent disability.

                                   
                                  
Under this scheme, discount cards are given free to Malaysian students in Higher Learning Institutes doing more than a year of study for certificate, diploma, degree and above. Students stand to enjoy discounts of between five and 60 per cent for goods and services from more than 2,600 outlets of 264 participating companies. The goods and services include books, stationery, sports attire, transport, accommodation, food and drinks, health clinics, automotive workshops and recreation services.

                                         

Interaktif-Tuisyen Rakyat 1Malaysia / Interactive-1Malaysia People’s Tuition (i-TR1M)

i-TR1M is an after-school learning programme aimed at low-income students by providing free tutoring for UPSR, PMR and SPM subjects online or through conventional means. It also targets students who are weak in crucial subjects such as Bahasa Melayu, English, Mathematics and Science. In the long run, the project is expected to inculcate the culture of self-learning and for the students to be independent.
The online learning programme serves as a supplement to what the students already learnt in the classrooms. Students’ learning and achievements can be monitored via various reports generated by the system.  
The programme started out with 4,000 UPSR students and 5,300 PMR and SPM students in Selangor, twice the number of the initial expectations. RM2 million in funding has been added on since, with the goal of reaching 200,000 students nationwide.



                                              

Kedai Kain Rakyat 1Malaysia / 1Malaysia People's Textiles Store (KKR1M)


KKR1M includes stores that offer high quality material and clothing at a low cost, with discounts of up to 70 per cent. The objective is to help those in the lower-income group to buy fabrics that could be used for clothes, school uniforms, curtains and other necessities. Currently, there are 19 such stores nationwide with 50 more expected to open this year.
